Twenty-five years ago today

January 6, 1986
Monday

I am having some productive sales days. I worked until 7PM and then went to the gym. Chad met me there and we tried to work out together. It was hard since I had started before him. Chad was stressed out. He needed an excuse for his roommate, Larry Berlin.
“I just know Larry is going to tell me to move out tonight,” Chad went on. “I have to think of something.”
For lack of better words I said, “You know you are welcome to move in with me.”

I went home and more or less went straight to bed. I read a little bit of my “Dracula” book that has the most amazing color illustrations.

My immediate plans were to report for work at 7AM tomorrow morning. I am going to be ‘an overtime buff’ until my financial debt subsides.
