Margaret Lai and I have been sharing break time rather regularly. I guess they (she and her beau, Dex) have been having some recurring arguments lately. The latest one was caused by jealousy when she remarked how good-looking some guy was who was walking with a homely, oriental woman. She makes me laugh. When we were speaking of Cindy Chow she made remarks of how Cindy flaunts her fat tits around.
Today was a proactive calling day. I made an error in what I’d told my customers regarding the stupid Series I product. It’s deceiving. I only sold one of those telecommunication services thus far.
After work I did aerobics for a good forty-five minutes. Then I enjoyed juice and sunflower seeds.
Steph Redding telephoned. I needed to talk to someone about Leonard, so she was the lucky one available. I tried to describe Leonard’s ‘ways’.
Steph responded as if she were a psychologist.
“Michael, he will remain your friend as he’ll see that money is no object to you in terms of knowing him. Guys like that are very meticulous in their speech and very judgmental. So, you ought to watch what you say.”
“You think so?”
“Yes, you don’t want to be a ‘yes man’. You have to be ready to express your opinions.”
“I feel that I do that now. I don’t agree with him every minute.”
I taped an old Lucille Ball flick and decided to go to bed early (9PM). I was feeling beat tired. I felt like turning in early for a change. Yawn.
"...what I said wasn't true. I don't climb for myself."
