I thought of Bonni Jayne today since it is her birthday. When I called information for the Hotel Franklin in Jamestown, NY there was no listing. Obviously, I was not able to speak to her.
I arrived to work a bit late because I slept in an extra fifteen minutes. I had to fill my car with gas and I mistakenly took Highway 580 instead of Highway 17. It was a boring morning meeting but the croissants and coffee were sure good.
I have good intentions of buying Ashley a birthday present (May 8), Tony and Helen a wedding gift, Tony a birthday gift (May 12) and mom a Mother’s Day gift sometime this week. I am hoping all of this gift purchasing will happen today at MACY’s.
Dale made an arrangement for us to go to the California College of Arts & Crafts at noon to pick up the Greeting Card business tape. I pretended to be Dale Orlando since I dressed in business attire while Dale was looking rather grubby. Dale and I are very excited about our business plan. We have decided to focus on MADO Graphics at this time and temporarily scratch the retail store idea at this time. We are going to work on more theme photographs and seriously work on quality excellence. Dale is coming over tonight and we’re going to take notes as we listen to the cassette tape.
I received a message from Rachelle Davies while at work. She just wanted to gab.
“I can’t really talk now because I’m at work, Rachelle.”
“Okay, well maybe you can pick me up tomorrow so we can go to the gym.”
“That sounds great. I will do that,” I said, hanging up the receiver and thinking how nice she seems to be.
I arranged a Remote Call Forwarding for a gal named Skye in San Francisco. She has a window cleaning business and offered to clean my windows for FREE. Amazing! I may take her up on it if she asks me again.
The customers of WHEREHOUSE COMPANY who were going to invite me to their office party may not be doing so now. It seems their order that I issued for new service did not go smoothly. It was supposed to run like clockwork but the installation guys ran into problems. Oh well, I can chalk away one invitation that will most likely be cancelled.
After work I went home and got a correspondence reply from KRON about becoming a ‘Wheel of Fortune’ contestant. I want so much to be on that show. I am so good at that game. I always guess the puzzles before the contestants that are on TV.
When Dale came by my pad to listen to the Greeting Card business idea cassette tape he made a startling comment.
“Michael, guess what?”
“What now?”
“I told Ryan something.”
“What?”
“I told him that you want him to ‘you know what’ YOU.”
“Get outta here!”
I couldn’t believe it. I didn’t want to go there, so I stuck to business. We did a bit of research for MADO Graphics and then we took a break. Dale stopped at his teller machine for cash and we ate at La Val’s Pizza. We returned to my pad and took notes on the Greeting Card business tape.
I telephoned Rachelle after Dale had left for Pittsburg. She is definitely going with me to Ashley’s Birthday party this Saturday. I’m happy about that.
