"I don't think I'm supposed to know how to handle every situation."

Today Dale and I are still excited about our new potential business plan. Sue and Mary are beginning to suspect that something is going on. Sue guessed it.
“You guys are planning your own business, aren’t you?” Sue asked.
Somehow Sue and Mary believe we are going to buy a house together. They know very little.
I sent mom some flowers today. She will be surprised. It doesn’t have to be Mother’s Day to send flowers.
Dale and I went to visit a few card shops after eating at the Golden Time Chinese Restaurant.
After work my mailbox contained a telephone bill. I roughly calculated Marty Louie’s share to be sixty-three dollars.
Marty said, “I may spend Memorial Day weekend at Sea Ranch in the outskirts of San Francisco in a condo with about twenty people.”
“That sounds like fun,” I said as I imagined twenty ‘boat people’ in a condo.
I went to keep Dad company. I fell asleep there. When I awoke at 7:05PM I decided to head to the gym.
I met Rachelle Davies tonight. I’d seen this girl at the gym before on several occasions. It was only lately that we have been exchanging HELLO’s. She is only eighteen years old and a senior at Castro Valley High School. She is so young but she looks like she could be in her early twenties. I demonstrated how to work a couple of weight training machines.
“I like the motion of this machine. I’m into physical therapy,” Rachelle said.
“Maybe I’ll see you here next Friday,” I said in hopes that she’d be sure to show up.

Dale and Steff telephoned me tonight. I did not return Steff’s phone call. When I called Dale I did recap a synopsis of plans for our potential new business.
“And don’t forget that we’re car-pooling tomorrow,” I said.
“I won’t forget.”
"It felt nice to do something good for a change."
