"Mapping the Territory"
Twenty five years ago today:

Dale and I still acquaint with one another (but to a lesser degree). I like it that way. I definitely do not want to reveal my latest goings on to him.
I keep crossing my mind to Paloma in Paris. Sometimes I wish I were there again. And then, I think of Leonard Perillo, arriving in London. He will certainly have a good time. I know by the end of his twenty days in Europe he will look forward to returning to The States to see his daily, familiar faces. Who knows? He may even be looking forward to seeing his newfound friend (me). I would feel this way.
Work came and went. It was payday and a lot of my co-workers received overtime checks with net proceeds of over $1000. That’s okay. I only had seventy-two hours (versus eighty). It will all even out In the long run (later), someday.
I drove over to mom’s house after work. I didn’t work out at the gym or exercise. I watched a little television with mom and then went home to sleep. Tomorrow is Friday.
It was the real estate speculators who with their cement works, contracts, buildings and newspapers pulled Italy out of the mud of financial scandals.
