It was rather miserable in many ways, group dynamics were at an all time low, administrations was shitty, rain and mud created a lot of tent time, and ticks and leaches were about.

Well, I am going to try it. I am going to work OVERTIME until 9PM tonight. Yikes.
Margaret Lai and I shared our first break together. She’s a sweetie. She makes me laugh. I love her company. She really loves her little boy, Lance. It’s heartwarming. It makes me think of the little girl ‘out there somewhere’ that is a part of me (wherever she may be). ?
At lunch I went off alone but I ran into Sue Fisher, so we ate together after we stopped for a visit to her Bank of America. We ate at El Faro (Mexican fast-food). I hate that place! It’s like eating ‘slop’ (almost).
I lounged about during my last break. My big sale of the day was a PREMIERE 20 that is scheduled for completion next Wednesday. Hurrah!
After work, Margaret and I walked together to California Street where the overtime location was taking place. It’s a nice building near Chinatown. We actually had fun. It was easy. We even went to McDonald’s during our only break.
I was home by 9:30PM. The overtime really wasn’t too bad. I did an aerobics stint when I got home but I was much too burned out once the Advanced workout session was about to begin. So I turned off the video, poured a glass of juice and turned-in for bed.

Oh yeah. I forgot to mention that a name from the past called me today. Chris Cordellos telephoned last night while I was half asleep. And so, I called him before bedtime. I told him a bit about my Paris, France adventure.
Chris spoke of himself by saying, “I have an interview tomorrow with the post-office.”
“You do? I hope you get the job.”
He sighed, sounding not all that excited about it.
I asked, “Are you still learning how to cut hair?”
“Yeah, I can cut your hair.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, I know just how to cut it, too.”
“Well, why don’t you come over on Friday night?”
“Okay, why don’t you call me?”
After hanging up the phone I thought, “What a creep. Couldn’t he just make it definite right then and there?”
Oh well, I went to bed thereafter.
If there was one lesson taught over the years, it was that impulsive actions led to trouble, and trouble could have unpleasant consequences. Never do anything without first weighting the consequences.
